We could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish. Mrs. Pam is an absolute jewel. She has a gentle, calm and reassuring presence about her that is such a relief and a welcome. The entire staff were respectful, kind and attentive. When the time comes for us to need arrangements again, we will absolutely be using Burthey.

Truly a heart-centered, family owned business. The Burthey Funeral Service team (especially Mrs Burthey) provided my family and I with so much expert advice, insight, care, and support throughout the entire process of transferring my brother’s remains from another state to the service and cremation. Our family was truly pleased with the services and support provided by the staff at Burthey Funeral Services. Pam did an excellent job of helping us with every detail of the planning and arrangements. Her attention to detail, prompt follow-up, and knowledge of local resources made the whole process run smoothly. We really felt supported by her and the staff from start to finish. In addition to the funeral arrangements, the staff did a fantastic job presenting the body of our loved one. They requested pictures and they really made our loved one look as we remembered her. They are truly gifted in this area. The day of the service, the Burthey staff was on-time, professional, and respectful of our needs and wishes. Grover did an excellent job facilitating the process and made travel from our home to the church to the grave site a smooth process. They ushered our family throughout the process so we did not have to think about anything but celebrating the life of our loved one. We really could not have picked a better funeral service to plan and execute the services for our loved one. We would highly recommend their services to anyone who is looking for a professional, affordable, experienced, and well-run funeral service.
